This development was one of the first projects that Thornapple completed in the industrial market. The initial design called for a 216,000 square foot warehouse building. But when the developer decided to add another 50,000 square feet and second phase, we jumped at the opportunity!

The first phase went off without a hitch, as our crew moved almost 60,000 cubic yards of clay on-site and imported over 800 truckloads of sand and gravel. The weather played a huge part in this, since the project kicked off late in the spring. However, the weather wasn’t on our side working on Phase II when we started that winter. Still, our crews stepped up to challenge and exceeded another project schedule.
